Research funding: Support programme for medium-sized companies Innovative & Digital (online)

The focus of this event is the Mittelstand Innovative & Digital (MID) funding programme of the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Innovation, Digitalisation and Energy of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia. In addition, the event provides an overview of the entire funding landscape.

The German mechanical and plant engineering industry has always been able to build on its high innovative strength. However, medium-sized companies in particular quickly come up against personnel or financial limits in their research and development activities. This is precisely where government research funding comes in.

The funding programme Mittelstand Innovativ & Digital consists of two sub-programmes.

The focus of this event is the "Mittelstand Innovativ & Digital (MID)" funding programme of the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Innovation, Digitalisation and Energy of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia, which consists of two sub-programmes
  • MID-Assistant: With the MID-Assistant, companies with less than 50 employees and a maximum of five employed academics can receive a fixed subsidy for the salary of up to 45,000 euros over two years when hiring a university graduate.
  • MID vouchers with the variants MID digitalization, MID analysis and MID innovation: MID vouchers can be applied for by small (up to 49 employees and up to 10 million Euro turnover per year) and medium-sized (up to 249 employees and up to 50 million Euro turnover per year) companies.

During the event, the framework conditions, the funding priorities, as well as the application process and the funding procedure itself will be discussed.

Furthermore, the event offers an overview of the entire funding landscape: Which funding programmes are currently available? Which programs are interesting for whom? What are the funding quotas? How does the new fiscal research promotion system work? We would like to discuss these and other questions with you at our event.

The event is aimed at specialists and managers from the fields of research and development, innovation and digitisation.
